Join our biologists and naturalists on a wildlife watching tour
Yellowstone is a huge place with plenty to see! Instead of trying to guess where to find wildlife on your own, join us on a full-day wildlife watching tour in Yellowstone's richest habitats in one of our comfortable tour vehicles. Using our expert local ecological knowledge, we'll maximize your chances of seeing the wildlife you're interested in accessing a number of different areas throughout the day. Though we use vehicles to keep up with various wildlife events, we will spend a large portion of the day outdoors.
Although sightings can never be guaranteed, we have extremely high success rates seeing wolves and grizzlies in Yellowstone. Plus, our highest-quality Swarovski and Vortex spotting scopes give you the best view of distant wildlife. We provide binoculars for animals in closer proximity, and we keep wildlife safe by avoiding encounters that are too close. But we don’t stop there. We are outdoor educators, and can also help enhance your knowledge of Yellowstone's natural history, ecology, scientific studies, and conservation efforts. As guides, we get excited about all kinds of observations, so let us know if you have a particular interest.

What's Not Included
● Park entrance fees ($20 per person or weekly, annual, veteran, 4th grader & senior passes also accepted) Book ahead at https://www.nps.gov/yell/planyourvisit/fees.htm or a park entrance kiosk for more information.
Please remember to bring clothing layers! It is not uncommon to have 60 degree (F) temperature changes in one day. In the winter, that could mean a change from -20 to +40 degrees (F). In summer, we could start the morning below freezing, and end the day in short sleeves. Be prepared!
Yellowstone has a dry, high-elevation climate, where it is difficult to stay hydrated at any time of year. It is important to drink lots of water in this environment. Be sure to have a water bottle with you. We provide water for refills in the field.
Myth Buster: Many people think that you have to hike through the backcountry to find animals, but that's not the case! Wildlife watching is most effective from viewpoints, overlooks and short trails, not so far from the road. Using a vehicle helps us cover many miles, so we can see more of the animals you're interested in. Of course, if you prefer to add a short hike to your tour, we are always up for that to! Just let your guide know.
$700 for 1 person + $60 per additional person
